Gentian acquired the retail head leases within the main entrance concourse of the new PFI-built St Helens Hospital, as part of a package also involving Whiston hospital, which is within the same NHS Trust.
What we did
The main concourse at St Helens houses a retail unit operated by WHSmith and a Costa coffee pod operated by Compass, both held on sub-underleases granted by Gentian.
Gentian’s in-house estates team manages the retailers' occupation including collecting the rents and service charges; taking all financial and operational risks associated with the space.
