Community

At the heart of our business philosophy, we prioritise working with integrity, consideration and compassion. We strive to support the communities in which we work through our sponsorship and charitable donation programme.

We are proud to support the following organisations

Yellow Door

We have been corporate partners of Yellow Door since 2020. Our support has enabled Yellow Door to reach more victims of domestic and sexual abuse who desperately need their help. In addition to financial support we have helped the team by providing advice on property matters including planning, construction and landscaping.

Winchester & District Young Carers

Our support helps Winchester and District Young Carers run their Exploration and Activity programmes. The exploration element supports emotional wellbeing, and the planned activities give children respite from their caring roles. Both programmes come together to allow young carers to be children first and get peer support.

The Winchester Beacon

The Winchester Beacon provides accommodation and practical and emotional support to people experiencing homelessness. We've supported The Winchester Beacon for the last two years; over this time our funding has helped with ongoing core costs and amongst other things has gone towards the annual laundry bill.

Move Momentum

Our support helps Move Momentum run their programme of community dance classes. Recognising the proven benefits of dance in enhancing mental and physical well-being, Move Momentum focus on providing weekly classes tailored for individuals over 65, wheelchair users and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. In 2022 we also sponsored Move Momentum’s Summer Showcase event which celebrated a summer of inclusive dance.

Ouseburn Farm

Ouseburn Farm is a working community farm and a place where local children and families can visit for free to learn about farming and growing, meet animals and explore green spaces. Our support of Ouseburn Farm is helping the farm remain free to access for the general public.

NHS Charity Trust donations

We have donated to 12 NHS Trust charities since 2020 and we are committed to supporting charities and NHS Trusts where our developments are located. We actively contact the Trust charities to offer a donation but also welcome approaches from individual Trusts. With many retail services across hospitals in the North East we also support the local community with the sponsorship of Ouseburn Farm in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
