The Brooks Shopping Centre, Winchester
Gentian as part of a consortium of investors acquired the long leasehold interest in The Brooks Shopping Centre, Winchester in January 2023.
What we did
The Brooks offers 120,000 sq ft of retail and leisure accommodation over three levels and has an underground car park with c. 300 spaces. Units are currently let to several national retailers including Sports Direct, Waterstones, Primark, HMV and TK Maxx and the Hampshire Cultural Trust visitor attraction, 878 AD, that tells the story of Saxon Winchester in association with the creators of Assassin's Creed.
Gentian, with Asset Manager Medireal will act as the local lead for the consortium whose aim is to modernise and improve the Brooks to make it a more attractive and vibrant space for the tenants and customers.
